In my previous post I talked about the “Peking Duck” experience at Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant in the Ritz Carlton Los Angeles and I mentioned the servers who work there. Upon further reflection, I remembered with great compassion, a server who once waited on me in Wolfgang’s Orlando restaurant in Downtown Disney. Upon a visit to that restaurant for dinner I learned that their restaurant fries nuts for their salads. I’m not sure if this is a very common practice but the thought had never crossed my mind. As one of the individuals in my party that night had a severe nut allergy this was an important tidbit to learn. I mention this because my heart is still filled with gratitude for the server that took the time to mention this upon learning that one of our guests had a severe nut allergy.
